Our Vision

At Mukono Energies, our vision is to make Uganda cleaner and healthier. We are dedicated to transforming waste into valuable resources while safeguarding public health and the environment. By creating a comprehensive, nationwide system for the collection and recycling of Used Cooking Oil (UCO), we aim to prevent the harmful practice of reintroducing contaminated oil into the food chain or improperly disposing of it in waterways and drainage systems.

Our Mission

Our mission is rooted in sustainability and health. As the Ugandan representative of Muenzer Kenya Pvt. Ltd., part of the Muenzer Bioindustrie GmbH family, we share a legacy of generating energy from waste and residual materials.

We focus on:

Preserving Resources

Our primary goal is to conserve natural resources by recycling UCO into biodiesel, contributing to long-term environmental sustainability.

Enhancing Health

Contaminated cooking oil poses serious health risks, including cardiac conditions prevalent in Uganda. 

Building a Sustainable Future

We are committed to establishing a nationwide UCO collection system in Uganda, ensuring that all collected oil is used exclusively for energy production.
