At Mukono Energies Uganda Ltd, we are driven by a mission to transform waste into sustainable energy, positively impacting both public health and the environment. As representatives of Muenzer Kenya Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of the renowned Muenzer Bioindustrie GmbH, we are committed to creating a cleaner, healthier future for Uganda through innovative waste management solutions.

Founded with a vision to address the growing challenges posed by waste disposal, Mukono Energies Uganda Ltd focuses on collecting and recycling Used Cooking Oil (UCO) and other hazardous liquid wastes. We transform these waste products into valuable resources, such as biodiesel, which contributes to reducing carbon emissions and promoting renewable energy across the region.

Our Mission

Our mission is to make Uganda cleaner and healthier by preventing waste from harming the environment and public health. We aim to stop Used Cooking Oil (UCO) from re-entering the food chain or being improperly disposed of in waterways and drainage systems. By building a nationwide collection network, we ensure that UCO is solely used for energy production, thus improving national health and environmental conditions.
